Aaron Maxwell
Aaron Maxwell holds sacred space for the profound transformations of those seeking healing through the sound bath experience—in the cancer unit, in the NICU, in the yoga studio, and on college campuses. The journey from the moment individuals walk into a session to when they walk out, healed and invigorated, is the driving force behind Aaron’s passion. In just a few moments, people can experience healing, relief, and an enhanced sense of well-being, as Aaron raises the vibration and becomes the catalyst for a positive ripple effect.
Aaron’s introduction to sound baths occurred during a massage session 25 years ago. Since then, gongs, bowls, and various musical instruments became integral to her methodology, extending her practice beyond traditional massage techniques. Aaron has also experienced the soothing effects of sound during her recovery from a major knee surgery, finding solace and peace in the resonant vibrations.
The turning point came when Aaron used sound baths to aid her best friend’s recovery from a traumatic hysterectomy. In just 30 minutes, the transformative power of sound was evident as her friend not only stood up but also experienced a remarkable improvement in overall well- being. This awakening solidified Aaron’s belief in the potency of sound as a healing modality.
Aaron’s mission extends beyond individual sessions. With a desire to empower people to heal themselves, Aaron envisions integrating sound healing into Western medicine. Her goal is to advocate for the inclusion of sound therapies, alongside music, art, and dog therapies, within the American hospital system. By bridging the gap between ancient healing practices and modern medicine, Aaron aims to make sound healing a recognized and accessible resource for holistic well-being.
